I will share with you some of my tips and tools for creating your signature framework and growing your business for using certification, licensing and leveraging your Signature Framework.

Whether you are a:

I cover a brief overview of an example of how you can create your framework process and create your license. Previous clients or colleagues that I've worked with have used this method, and use this process for their Courses and Programs to license their Digital asset as well as create their signature program. The purpose of having a framework is that this is your signature thing that you are known for, it is the thing that you are known for, which people come to you for, and it must be something that you are used to Consulting, Coaching, Counselling, Selling, etc or creating transformations for your clients, it can't be something that's just an idea, you must have a firm and solid solution. 

This process is evergreen (updating revisions can provide upsells and additional sales, continuity, and maintenance opportunities ), client’s even during the pandemic have sold both Signature framework and Licenses during the Pandemic.

In the Youtube video above I have provided an example based on some of the principles of my framework. Once you understand your framework, you can build a process around this, and this is what you can package and sell, I have used this same process and framework with my work with clients and corporates.

I would like to reiterate that you should:

  • Definitely have testimonials, results, and client results

  • Have a proven process, methodology, and framework

  • Seek legal support and counsel pertaining to your contract and license agreements

  • Carry out your due diligence on prospective clients and those wishing to use your IP, framework, and license

  • Create an element of assessment, application, or prerequisite to vet and ensure the intended client or organisation against your given criteria

A method that I use is to provide an audit or diagnostic which also provides value to the client, previously I would always provide the client with a report with a scope of an overall roadmap to their solution/s. However, a better understanding of their challenges which they had at the beginning, and that something means that they haven't resolved all of their potential challenges or gaps.

It's something that I've got results in as well as clients, and a great strategy that also opens the door to the next stage for your clients, providing them with a transformation and result. But it also opens the consultative door open, so to speak, I haven't fulfilled the whole solution to their challenge. It's a foot in the door. It's a way of opening a diagnostic, so you must be sure of what you offer. So an example of this for myself is offering the sales funnel clinic. And we would leave with an audit being . So I  will be looking for gaps in a funnel my process, there are a number of steps that I would use in order to produce a report funnel that I would create an evaluation is that evaluation is providing some top-line recommendations. 

Now, the reason why this is so important is because so many business owners will be chasing the next client. When you've got a proven method and process, you can create things development, you can create a workflow in a system based around this so for myself. I work on an iteration process.

An iteration is essentially a program for myself, and I work on an iteration of conducting research, and then understanding whom I want to reach out to and then develop the pitch decks and the plans, and then moving forward from that, I then approached companies, I may organise a webinar. I may organise a lunch and learn. I may give value, like, I'm sure you will receive from this blog or training if you are watching this class. I want you to understand that this is something I absolutely love and something that I work with clients on, it takes work!

At the end of this session, I would presume that you would want to take the next step, I would not want you to just sit on this information. And, and if you would like to move forward and work with me that that would be great too. This is an overview of the process that I follow, and then I will work through the stage and framework based on a companies needs and requirements. So, for myself there is either a strategy or some learning based around aprinciple, meaning that there is a bespoke strategy created for every company, it's not a blueprint that is one size fits all, because every single organisation and business owner has a different budget, different knowledge, different criteria. 

From my experience and in my mind, many people are trying online to build one size fits all. And everyone has different emotional intelligence, different environments, and budgets, it's impossible to do. So for myself it's about defining a unique strategy for that one person or organisation.

For every strategy, there's going to be a learning process. So in a audit or consultation process, when I call provide orconsult, the learning process isn't just for the top, director, or the person I'm working with. There should also be some supplementary education for the team. So, for this within my toolkit, I will create the resources, because if you pitch, providing some taster session, example a lunch and learn, you will want to provoide them information, you have to give them some sort of follow up support.

While the program is rolled out (in many cases with your support), my last digital transformation project, was very similar to this. 

In my experience the success of the program or consultation is always supported by the people that are within the team. If they don't have the,sufficient information to support that program, it will struggle to be a success. 

A great way to ensure this success is to build yourself or services into the post solution, an example of this is maintenance and this is where the license comes in. This can prove highly lucrative and I strongly suggest is, for me, is having a definition of the roles and responsibilities for  the team, as well as an upsell for you. You can then license a programme and come back and be that organisation educator.
