This brings me to a reminder that I shared this morning. It is so important to share lofty goals !
I had gone to ground zero and felt nothing but shame.
In 2011, I enrolled in a teaching course with a baby months-old, whilst running a startup (). I sat beside two amazing people which triggered the self-sabotage. Who am I? why me? The baby is bearly sleeping when will I get the coursework done? I had zero support.
I reminded my poor classroom partner Sherrie Warwick of our teachers, lecturing and educator classroom exercises.
I knew I had to make it happen
β€οΈMy grandmother watched the children, whilst I went to evening classes
β€οΈI had the most amazing tutor Shirley who really believed in me and supported
β€οΈβ€οΈMy aunt Bev would lend me her car so I could do all of the logistics on college day
I passed with a merit π
I reminded Sherrie this morning of the wouldnβt it be nice ideas and lists that we brainstormed one morning in the garden. All now a reality.
Check-in on your dreams, tough times do not last forever
